Liberation through enslavement

The delusion of choice is non-debatable. As determinism takes control of the main engine, we are led by a steam train, massively into our one-way destination. Non-debatable is also the fact that happiness and sadness are tightly bound to chemical reactions in the human brain. Wasting a whole force-fed lifetime to pursue such a trophy as “being happy” seems like nonsense.

Let’s be realists—the 0.00001% exception can’t be taken into consideration, not even the 0.001% or the 0.1%. When falling off a building, you can’t expect to land on the back of a trash truck like in the movies.

For one to think holistically, he must take the whole life journey into consideration. Most of us will follow the master pattern, with small deviations. The only magical thing about that is that it has nothing magical; both sides of a coin look the same.

“Do not try and bend the spoon. That’s impossible. Instead… only try to realize the truth.”

We are thinking about it the wrong way. It’s not the freedom of choice that we have in life—it’s the lack of freedom that breaks the chains. The moment you realize that perception can be kneaded into any form, the door opens from the inside. And death plays the most important role in this game—it’s the “get out of jail” card. Besieging the idea of death is a wise choice to begin with.

Fear. Looking away, to the other side of an ugly face. Focusing on the tragedy of the half-full glass theory. This is true defeat in the midst of a battle—refusing to see the face of the enemy.

But here is how it goes.

Most people who go through life-threatening experiences—serious illnesses, cancer, heart attacks, survival in car accidents—usually turn their minds around. They touch the face of death, they smell the flowers in their coffins, and they change routes. Their dirty brain windows get washed and they clearly see the end. They experience the reality: this is it. Time is being wasted over an altered perception of truth. And that is their turning point.

This is where and when they start thinking that the quest for happiness is a flight with broken wings toward the sun. They understand this is misleading. We have been manipulated. The walk into the darkness is the way to find the real truth.

There is only one game, and the grand finale—for the human life on Earth—is already written. It has been there since the beginning of time and man, but you refused to see it.

dystopian imagination

Now, the chains have been broken. There is no sweet passage through the Inferno of suffering and pain. This is the alarm in a pointless life: to live is to suffer. The alarm from a living that will be hypnotizing and misleading for the whole lifetime.

Pain wakes you up. It makes you think that when life ends, one second at a time, time becomes precious. The value goes straight up as the perception change makes gold appear like horseshit. You are older and closer to the coffin than when you started reading this post.

And this is liberating.

Nothing is holding anyone back anymore. Now the sky has a limit, and it’s crystal clear what it is. This makes torture sweet and pain a close friend. There is no fear anymore. The pursuit of “happiness” is over. There are no chains to this slavery. Sisyphus has set himself free through realizing that the suffering will be continuous and the pain will never end.

There was no meaning to it all, but now the self-realization womb has built a new one. Now you can go out and enjoy life.

We are relentless. We are not afraid of you anymore.
