The inescapable end

The light at the end of the tunnel is just the light of an oncoming train. The whole human existence is a lie. I have been fiddling around with questions unanswered but now I see them coming clear.

We born and grow up trying to assimilate the concept of death. We are being told that we should live our lives with happiness and that some day we will die. Probably when we are old and wise, having lived a full life of enviable successes, broken hearts and high stake adventures.

The rational way to think this is to picture an image of a stick-on sticker across a page that explains life. The sticker is white, and has thousands of photos printed on it. Thousands of experiences that a man would live in his lifetime. But imagine that, one day you unstick the sticker and you realise that under all of these events and complex feelings lies a black, empty page with your name fading as time goes by.

Time in the story is the psychopath that holds the chainsaw and he’s always one step behind you. If you stop to take a breath or stumble across a rock, he will get you. He will cut your head in two and mutilate every human part of you that protrudes. He will show absolutely and totally no mercy. He has only one goal: to send you to the grave.

What does this sticker and the black page show? That every human on earth ever existed and every one that should exist are blind to the truth. They choose to turn their heads to the opposite direction of the truth: Every life ends in death.

People are getting social to make them forget about it. They pursue exhaustive careers and travel long trips. They decide to life life NOW as it is with no compromise. They build big families and they go after earnings, buying houses and sometimes they kill each other for them.

In 100 years from now, none of us will exist. None of us will live to claim his fortune. By then, he will be food for maggots or just dust. Our coffins would have been decomposed. Some of us would die in a car crash, others by old age. Many from painful cancer in a young age.

Death is the ultimate and honest truth in life. We are all losers.
