The poignant reminder

Loneliness is an inherent part of human existence and touches existential thoughts like a foreign veil. Individuals are basically alone in the universe and must create their own meaning in an indifferent or even irrational microcosm.

Those who aim to be happy and feel bliss rarely challenge themselves to go deep into thought. Transient belief systems are made and must be followed to fuel “the loop”, the dumb circular delusion. A lifelong investment of delusion: a secret contract to die as someone else by adopting robotic social norms and values without critical examination or personal approval. But death will see your true face.

The pursuit of happiness is the avoidance of insightful contemplation. Avoid facing the absurd.

Misunderstanding. Guilt that can be mistaken for love.

There is a huge misunderstanding that has been building up over the centuries: The majority of people don’t want to face the truth. Mass deception, shared among people with the same common social contract. A well maintained blueprint for existential escapism. The Fool plays the paradox of Schrödinger’s cat as a game with inescapable truth.

A superficial existence, completely unbound by reality.

If everyone continues to bury their heads in the cold, damp graves of comfort and conformity, the haunting questions of existence may yet whisper their troubling truths in their ears for all eternity as a curse.

What is the meaning of life; What is the meaning of death?
Why am I here? Why am I not here?
Why does anything matter if we all die in the end?

As Professor Yuval Noah Harari says repeatedly, people enjoy making and watching stories. The entire history of humanity is built from a variety of different stories and the actions of people who support or deny them. We live in history. We are the story of tomorrow.

Truth creates clarity and peace, but first it must bring forth destruction. The existential and physical journey through hell is inevitable and purposeful. The absurd waits behind the door. To heal, you must first bleed, hard. Is suffering the way to heal wounds and touch freedom? Is it possible to grow through pain?

Below the stairs, lies the abyss. The human condition is extremely complex and quite simple at the same time. A meaningless universe above our heads is waiting to swallow us forever with one wrong move. We seek solace in a confrontation with loneliness and mortality and it seems so innocent and naive. So pointless. Hoping for an end where glory will surely be absent. Existential despair.

The poignant reminder goes off once again.
